Jessica Shelley

With international roots and a heart for Christian education, I bring a unique perspective to my role as Campus Director at Neighborhood Kids Preschool.

Born and raised in Ansbach, Germany to a German mother and American father, my journey in early childhood education began in 2010 with the Army and Navy Child Development Centers. This opportunity blessed me with experience across three countries—Germany, the United States, and Cuba—where I helped launch new schools and secure three prestigious NAEYC Accreditations. Serving military families was truly an honor, as these dedicated parents deserve nothing less than excellence for their children.

When my husband completed his Army service, we sought to establish roots in a community that offered both warmth and community spirit. Having grown up in Germany’s cooler climate, Florida’s sunshine called to us! With our daughter Aamiyah, we found our perfect home in Wellington—a community that provides the close-knit atmosphere I cherished from childhood while offering meaningful opportunities to serve.

My journey with Neighborhood Kids Preschool has been especially fulfilling, allowing me to contribute to our NECPA Accreditation renewals while experiencing tremendous spiritual and professional growth. What makes leading at Neighborhood Kids so meaningful is our shared commitment to nurturing children in an environment where faith, joy, and learning flourish together.

I believe wholeheartedly that what we offer transcends traditional early education—we’re building foundations of faith and character that will support children throughout their lives. It’s this deeper purpose that inspires my dedication to creating a loving, Christ-centered learning environment where each child can discover their God-given potential.

Rosi G. Dominguez

From a young girl in Mexico with a heart for children in need to a passionate educational leader, my journey to becoming Campus Director at Neighborhood Kids has been guided by God’s calling to serve His youngest children.

My career in early childhood education began not as a profession, but as a response to the compassion God placed in my heart. After witnessing families struggling without homes in my native Mexico, I promised to make a difference in children’s lives however I could. This promise found its fulfillment when my own child started preschool, and I witnessed firsthand how dedicated teachers could transform young lives through love and care.

What began as volunteering quickly evolved into my life’s purpose as I progressed from floater to assistant teacher, lead teacher, and ultimately director. Throughout my journey working with children from infancy through age 12, I’ve been motivated by a genuine passion for helping each child reach their God-given potential. I find immense joy in celebrating children’s successes and providing empathetic support through their challenges.

As Director, I embrace the opportunity to extend my impact beyond the classroom by building meaningful relationships with families and mentoring our teaching team. I approach each day not as work but as a blessing—”another day in paradise with the children,” as I often say. My leadership is grounded in the belief that God has intentionally placed me exactly where I’m needed, and I trust His plans are always greater than my own.

meet the Chapel director

Rachel Brown

For over three decades, I have embraced the sacred privilege of nurturing young hearts and minds in Christian education. Now serving as Chapel Director across all Neighborhood Kids Preschool campuses, I bring a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to Christ-centered early childhood development.

My educational journey has blessed me with opportunities to teach students of all ages—from preschool through high school—but it is within our youngest learners that I’ve discovered my deepest calling. Throughout my 31 years in Christian education, I’ve remained guided by a simple yet profound purpose: to create environments where children experience the love of Christ through every interaction, lesson, and moment of care.

As Chapel Director, I have the extraordinary opportunity to ensure that spiritual formation remains at the heart of our preschool experience. Beyond academic foundations and daily routines, I work to establish an atmosphere permeated by peace, joy, and patience—qualities that provide children with the security and confidence to explore, grow, and discover God’s purpose for their lives.

I believe wholeheartedly in the wisdom of Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go; when he is old he will not depart from it.” This scripture shapes my approach to early childhood ministry, reminding us that these formative years lay foundations of faith and character that can last a lifetime.

It is my profound honor to partner with our dedicated teaching team and your family in nurturing your child’s spiritual journey. Together, we create daily opportunities for children to experience God’s love, discover biblical truths, and begin developing a personal .
