Encouraging Curiosity Through Active Learning

Fledglings are natural explorers, and our classrooms are set up to invite wonder and discovery. Through hands-on play, sensory activities, and guided learning centers, toddlers develop foundational skills that support school readiness and lifelong learning. We emphasize consistency in daily routines, like snack time, music, circle time, and outdoor play, to create a comforting rhythm in their day.

Planting Seeds of Faith and Kindness

Spiritual growth during the toddler years is all about modeling and introducing God’s love through simple, meaningful interactions. Our Fledglings hear short Bible stories, enjoy faith-based songs with motions, and learn to fold their hands in prayer. Teachers model Christian values such as kindness, sharing, and patience, reinforced with words like “Jesus loves you” and “God made you special.” These early impressions of faith help toddlers begin to understand that they are part of a loving and purposeful world.

Building Independence and Social Confidence

As toddlers begin to express preferences, test limits, and interact more with peers, our teachers gently guide their social-emotional growth. The Fledglings program offers opportunities for parallel and cooperative play, helping children navigate their first friendships, manage emotions, and begin to follow simple instructions. Encouraging choices, affirming efforts, and celebrating small victories help build confidence, resilience, and a sense of autonomy in our growing learners.
