Neighborhood Kids
FAQ

Our Programs

To be entrusted with your child’s care is an honor. Beyond offering parents peace of mind that their kids are in the best hands, we provide nationally accredited programming and a staff dedicated to the development and happiness of your little ones.

What makes Neighborhood Kids different than other preschools?

For over 40 years, we have provided a nurturing and loving environment for children in the Wellington area. Our parents experience thoughtful guidance and support from our directors and teachers, many of whom have been with us for 10, 20, and 30 plus years. We enjoy very low staff turnover, allowing us to ensure we’re maintaining the highest quality care.

Will my child be safe?

We have a closed-circuit security and surveillance system monitoring in every classroom, as well as the exterior of the building. Exterior doors are locked at all times and access to classrooms is restricted via our Pro Care system. We are continually patrolled by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and are proud to be located in Wellington, which is consistently rated as one of the safest communities in Florida.

What curriculum do you utilize?

ABEKA & WEE Learn Curriculum.

Are you accredited?

We are proudly accredited through the National Early Childhood Program. Additionally, we are a Florida Gold Seal Preschool, and all of our teachers have CDA Certificates or higher.

What precautions are you taking in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)?

We are adhering to the latest enhanced guidelines from the Florida Department of Health, as well as maintaining limited classroom sizes, social distancing protocols, and daily sanitization procedures.

Do you serve meals?

Yes. We provide a healthy hot lunch and snacks available to all students. Organic meals are available upon request.

Do you offer tuition discounts?

Yes. In addition to sibling discounts, we offer a 10% tuition discount to parents/primary caregivers who are first responders or active military personnel.

How many children attend Neighborhood Kids?

Our Greenbriar location has a capacity of 170 attendees. Our Wellington Trace location has a 118 attendee capacity.

What is the most unique aspect of your preschool?

Our culture sets us apart from the rest! Our tenured staff genuinely enjoys seeing the evolution of our attendees and the multi-generational families that successfully complete our program. In fact, many of our parents were once students themselves at Neighborhood Kids!
