Administrative Assistant

This is a highly visible position at the Lake Worth Campus.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong, organizational skills, and the ability to speak clearly and enthusiastically to existing and prospective new preschool families.

Responsibilities:

  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and other employees
  • Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
  • Time management skills to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasks throughout the day
  • Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with upset customers
  • Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable and attentive
Lead Center Director

5 Years Center Leadership Experience (required)

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • We are looking for someone who has the capacity, experience and desire to help lead a busy and dynamic Center. Must have previous experience leading a Center, managing staff and teachers. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, conflict management, work ethic is a must. Excellent problem solving skills a must.
  • Experience with Abeka and Funny Daffer is a plus. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of School Readiness Program through ELC and be very familiar with DOH rules and regulations for child care centers. Bilingual is preferred.
  • Experience with Brightwheel , Staff scheduling, providing Center tours, inspection and maintenance of child center.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Center.
  • Supervise all staff, maintain up-to-date employee and student files, billing, and assure continuous compliance with the Florida Dept. of Health.
  • Oversee the hiring process, train, and conduct orientation for new staff
  • Oversee contract with Early Learning Coalition of PBC for VPK and School Readiness Programs.
  • Serve as Liaison between the Center and church.
  • Conduct parent tours, manage incoming online and phone inquiries by prospective new families.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills in English. Bilingual a plus.

Experience:

Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Early Childhood Education.
