We are searching for friendly, well organized, and energetic Lead Teachers for our two and three-year-olds. As a faith-based institution, we emphasize candidates with a strong Christian background and the ability to incorporate faith into the curriculum.

Required Skills

Education and Certifications

• Valid Florida CDA
• 45 Hours of DCF Training
• CPR Certified

Preferred Experience

Our ideal candidate would have previous experience working as a:

• Preschool teacher
• Toddler teacher
• Two/Three-year-old daycare teacher
• Child-care educator
• Early childhood educational teacher
• Teacher assistant

COVID-19 Precautions

All Teachers and Assistants wear masks or face shields. We are following enhanced childcare COVID-19 related CDC guidelines to keep our staff and children safe.

• Personal protective equipment provided or required
• Temperature screenings
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

Experience:

• We are looking for someone who has the capacity, experience and desire to help lead a busy and dynamic Center. Must have previous experience leading a Center, managing staff and teachers. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, conflict management, work ethic is a must. Excellent problem solving skills a must.
• Experience with Abeka and Creative Curriculum is a plus. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of School Readiness Program through ELC and be very familiar with DOH rules and regulations for child care centers. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
• Experience with Brightwheel , Staff scheduling, providing Center tours, inspection and maintenance of child center.

Qualifications:

• 1 year + of center leadership/management (required)
• Florida Director's Credentials (required)
• Associate/Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred
• Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children

• Oversee contract with Early Learning Coalition of PBC for VPK and School Readiness Programs.
• Serve as liaison between Center and church.
• Conduct parent tours, manage incoming online and phone inquiries by prospective new families.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills in English. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Experience with Abeka and Creative Curriculum is a plus.
